<p>New Delhi: Today is the second day of the nationwide vaccine festival. The total number of doses of Covid-19 vaccine given in the country today exceeded 10.45 crore. </p>

<p>According to the provisional report till 7 am today, a total of 10,45,28,565 vaccines have been administered through 15,56,361 sessions. These include 90,13,289 HCWs, those who have taken the first dose of the vaccine, and 55,24,344 HCWs who have taken the second dose, 99,96,879 FLW (first dose), 47,95,756 FLW (second dose), 4 over the age of 60, There are 05,30,321 (first dose) and 19,42,750 (second dose) beneficiaries and those between 45 and 60 years of age are 3,20,46,911 (first dose) and 6,78,360 (second dose). On the first day of the Tika festival, around 30 lakh vaccines were administered yesterday.</p>



<p>On the first day of the nationwide vaccine festival, 63,800 Covid Vaccination Centers (CVCs) were operational, which is higher than the average of 18,800 operational CVCs. Most of the CVCs were operational in private workplaces. Additionally, despite being a Sunday, which usually has less vaccination, about 3 million vaccines were administered on the first day of the vaccine festival.</p>



<p>29,33,418 vaccines were administered on the 86th day of the vaccination campaign (April 11, 2021). Of these, 27,01,439 beneficiaries were vaccinated in 38,398 sessions for the first dose, while 2,31,979 beneficiaries received the second dose of the vaccine.</p>



<p>In terms of the number of daily vaccines worldwide, India continues to be on top with an average of 40,55,055 vaccines being applied daily. The corresponding number for yesterday was 38,34,574.</p>



<p>The number of new cases is increasing daily in India. In the last 24 hours, 1,68,912 new cases were registered.</p>



<p>10 states including Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, Chhattisgarh, Karnataka, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat and Rajasthan have shown an increase in new daily cases of Covid. 83.02 percent of new cases have been reported from these 10 states.</p>



<p>Maharashtra has the highest number of daily new cases reported, with a figure of 63,294. Uttar Pradesh is second with 15,276 and 10,774 new cases have been registered in Delhi.</p>



<p>India&#8217;s total active cases have reached 12,01,009. It now accounts for 8.88 percent of the country&#8217;s total positive cases. There has been an increase of 92,922 cases in total active cases in the last 24 hours.</p>



<p>The five states &#8211; Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh, Karnataka, Uttar Pradesh and Kerala together account for 70.16 percent of India&#8217;s total active cases. Maharashtra alone accounts for 47.22 percent of the country&#8217;s total active cases.</p>



<p>India&#8217;s total recovery has reached 1,21,56,529 today. The national recovery rate is 89.86 percent.</p>



<p>75,086 recoveries were recorded in the last 24 hours.</p>



<p>The trend of continuous increase in daily deaths is being seen. In the last 24 hours, 904 deaths were recorded.</p>



<p>10 states account for 89.16 percent of the new deaths. Maharashtra recorded the maximum deaths (349), while Chhattisgarh stood second with 122 daily deaths.</p>



<p>Not a single death has been reported from Covid-19 in 9 states / UTs in the last 24 hours. These states are Odisha, Himachal Pradesh, Ladakh (Union Territory), Daman and Diu and Dadar and Nagar Haveli, Meghalaya, Sikkim, Lakshadweep, Andaman and Nicobar Islands and Arunachal Pradesh.</p>

<p>Maharashtra recorded the highest number of 56,286 daily new cases. After this, 10,652 new cases have been registered in Chhattisgarh and 8,474 in Uttar Pradesh.</p>



<p>The total number of active cases in India has reached 9,79,608. It is now 7.50 percent of the total positive cases in the country. Out of the total number of active cases in the last 24 hours, 69,289 cases were reduced.</p>



<p>A total of 73.24 percent of the total active cases in India are in five states Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh, Karnataka, Uttar Pradesh and Kerala. Maharashtra alone accounts for 53.84 percent of the total active cases in the country.</p>



<p>Today, the total number of doses of Covid-19 vaccine across the country has exceeded 9.43 crores.</p>



<p>According to the interim report till 7 am today, a total of 9,43,34,262 vaccine doses have been given through 14,28,500 sessions. These included 89,74,511 health workers &#8216;first dose of vaccine and 54,49,151 health workers&#8217; second dose of vaccine, 98,10,164 advance front workers &#8216;first dose of vaccine, 45,43,954 advance front workers&#8217; second dose of vaccine, since 60 years Older 3,75,68,033 beneficiaries took the first dose of vaccine and 13,61,367 beneficiaries took the second dose of vaccine and 2,61,03,814 beneficiaries aged 45 to 60 got their first dose and 5,23,268 beneficiaries took the vaccine. <p>So far, 60 percent of the total vaccine doses in the country have been given in 8 states.</p>



<p>During the last 24 hours, more than 3.6 million vaccine doses were given.</p>



<p>On the 83rd day of the vaccination campaign (08 April 2021), 36,91,511 vaccine doses were given. Through 49,416 sessions, 32,85,004 beneficiaries took the first dose and 4,06,507 beneficiaries took the second dose.</p>



<p>In terms of the number of daily dosages globally, India remains on top, with an average of 37,94,328 vaccine doses given per day.</p>



<p>The total number of patients recovering to date in India is 1,19,13,292. The recovery rate at the national level is 91.22 percent.</p>



<p>In the last 24 hours, 61,899 patients recovered.</p>



<p>In the last 24 hours, 780 deaths were recorded.</p>



<p>Ten states account for 92.82 percent of the total new deaths. The highest number of deaths (376) was recorded in Maharashtra. After this, 94 daily deaths were recorded in Chhattisgarh.</p>



<p>Twelve states / union territories recorded no deaths from Covid-19 in the last 24 hours. <p>New Delhi: There has been an increase in the number of active cases in India in the last few days. Today the total number of active cases in India remains at the level of 1,45,634. </p>

<p>It now accounts for 1.32 percent of India&#8217;s total positive cases. More than 74 percent of India&#8217;s active cases are in Kerala and Maharashtra. Along with this, Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh have also seen an increase in daily cases. New cases are increasing every day in Punjab and Jammu and Kashmir.</p>



<p>In the last four weeks in Kerala, average weekly cases have been between the highest of 42,000 and the low of 34,800. Similarly, during the last four weeks in Kerala, the weekly positive rate has been between 13.9 percent to 8.9 percent. In Kerala, Alappuzha district continues to be of particular concern, with the weekly positive rate rising to 10.7 percent and the weekly cases increasing to 2,833.</p>



<p>In Maharashtra, in the last four weeks, there has been an upward trend in weekly affairs and has increased from 18,200 to 21,300; At the same time, the weekly positive rate has increased from 4.7 percent to 8 percent. Suburban areas of Mumbai continue to be of particular concern, with weekly cases increasing by 19 percent. Weekly cases in Nagarpur, Amravati, Nashik, Akola and Yavatmal increased to 33 percent, 47 percent, 23 percent, 55 percent and 48 percent respectively.</p>



<p>If we consider the spread of Covid 19 infection in Punjab, then it is rapidly reaching critical condition. In the state, during the last four weeks, the weekly positive rate has increased from 1.4 percent to 1.6 percent, while the number of weekly cases has increased from 1,300 to 1,682 in the last four weeks. In just one district, SBS Nagar, the weekly positive rate increased from 3.5 percent to 4.9 percent and weekly cases more than doubled from 165 to 364.</p>



<p>The weekly positive rate in 5 states / union territories is higher than the national average. The national average is 1.79 percent. Maharashtra has the highest weekly positive rate of 8.10 percent.</p>



<p>The Center has advised all the states to work on five main areas. They are as follows:</p>



<p>The total number of trials should be improved proportionally with emphasis on increasing RT-PCR testing.</p>



<p>After all the negative rapid antigen test results, RT-PCR test should be done compulsorily and no such negative person remains.</p>



<p>Strict prevention should be re-emphasized in the identified districts along with strict and holistic monitoring.</p>



<p>After investigation, the emergence of clusters should be monitored with regular monitoring of mutant strains through genome sequencing.</p>



<p>Emphasis should be placed on clinical management in districts with high incidence of death.</p>



<p>On the Covid vaccination front, India&#8217;s total immunization has crossed the figure of 1.10 crore.</p>



<p>According to the provision report received till 8 am today, a total of 1,10,85,173 doses of vaccines have been given through 2,30,888 sessions till 8.00 am on February 18, 2021. This includes 63,91,544 HCW (first dose), 9,60,642 HCW (second dose) and 37,32,987 FLW (first dose).</p>



<p>A second dose of Covid-19 vaccination was started from February 13, 2021, for those beneficiaries who received 28 days after receiving the first dose. The vaccination of FLW began on February 2, 2021.</p>



<p>On the 36th day of the vaccination campaign (February 20, 2021), a total of 4,32,931 doses were given, of which 2,56,488 beneficiaries were given the first dose (HCW and FLW) in 8,575 sessions, and the second dose of vaccine to 1,76,443 HCWs.</p>



<p>60.04 percent of people taking the second dose belong to 7 states. Karnataka alone accounted for 11.81 percent (1,13,430 doses).</p>



<p>A total of 1.06 crore (1,06,89,715) people have recovered so far. During the last 24 hours, 11,667 patients recovered and were discharged. India&#8217;s overall improvement rate of 97.25 percent is the highest in the world.</p>



<p>Of the new cases, 81.65 percent belong to 5 states.</p>



<p>Kerala recorded the highest number of healthy people on a single day with 5,841 newly cured cases. In Maharashtra, 2,567 people recovered in the last 24 hours, while in Tamil Nadu, 459 people recovered.</p>



<p>85.61 percent of new cases are related to 5 states.</p>



<p>Maharashtra continues to lead on a daily basis with 6,281 new cases. This is followed by Kerala with 4,650 cases, while 490 new cases were registered in Karnataka. Only two states Maharashtra and Kerala account for 77 percent of the new cases reported during the last 24 hours.</p>



<p>Not a single death has been reported from Covid 19 during the last 24 hours in 22 states. These states are Gujarat, Odisha, Jammu and Kashmir (UT), Andhra Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, Goa, Jharkhand, Puducherry, Assam, Meghalaya, Lakshadweep, Manipur, Mizoram, Sikkim, Ladakh (UT), Nagaland, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Tripura , Uttarakhand, Arunachal Pradesh, D&amp;D and D&amp;N.</p>



<p>101 deaths were recorded during the last 24 hours.</p>



<p>Five states account for 80 percent of new death cases. Maharashtra had the highest number of deaths at 40. 13 people died in Kerala. 9 people died in Punjab.</p>



<p>During the last 24 hours, more than 20 deaths occurred in just 1 state; Between 1 and 20 deaths occurred in just 1 state; Between 2 and 6 deaths occurred in 2 states and between 1 and 5 deaths in 10 states.</p>

<p>New Delhi: As of 8 am on January 31, 2021, a total of 37.44 lakh (37,44,334) beneficiaries have been vaccinated under the nationwide Covid 19 vaccination practice. In India, active cases of Covid are steadily decreasing. It has reduced to 1.68 lakhs (1,68,784) today. Currently the total active cases in India constitute 1.57% of the total cases in the country.</p>

<p>There are less than 5000 active cases in 31 states / union territories. Andaman and Nicobar Islands have 4 active cases registered, followed by 6 active cases in Daman and Diu and Dadra and Nagar Haveli.</p>



<p>79.69 percent of the total active cases are from 5 states / union territories. Two states alone, Kerala and Maharashtra, account for 69.41 per cent of India&#8217;s total active cases. The number of recovers in India till date is 1.04 crore (1,04,23,125). The recovery rate (recovery rate) has been 96.99 percent.</p>



<p>For the past 24 days, the number of daily cases has been more than the number of new daily cases. During the last twenty four hours, 1,3,052 new cases have been registered, while 13,965 patients have been discharged from the hospital during the last 24 hours.</p>



<p>As of 8 am on January 31, 2021, a total of 37.44 lakh (37,44,334) beneficiaries have been vaccinated under the nationwide Covid 19 vaccination practice.</p>



<p>During the last 24 hours, 2,44,307 health workers were vaccinated in 5,275 sessions. 68,962 sessions have been held so far. There has been a steady increase in the number of beneficiaries vaccinated every day.</p>



<p>Globally, India ranks fifth (as on 29 January 2021) in terms of the number of vaccinations within the country. This is despite the fact that many countries started their vaccination campaigns before India.</p>



<p>Out of the total vaccinated beneficiaries, 63.34 percent are from 8 states.</p>



<p>Uttar Pradesh has the highest number of vaccination beneficiaries followed by Rajasthan and Karnataka.</p>



<p>10 States / Union Territories account for 85.72 per cent of the new recoverable cases.</p>



<p>Kerala has the highest number of 7,032 new patients cured in a single day. During the last twenty-four hours, 1,535 patients have been cured in Maharashtra and 547 in Karnataka.</p>



<p>7 States and Union Territories account for 83.72 percent of the daily new cases.</p>



<p>Kerala has the highest number of new cases of 6,282 daily. This was followed by 2,630 cases in Maharashtra, while Tamil Nadu reported 505 new cases.</p>



<p>There have been 127 deaths during the last 24 hours.</p>



<p>6 states/union territories accounted for 74.02 percent of daily deaths. Maharashtra has the highest number of deaths (42). There have been 18 daily deaths in Kerala while 9–9 deaths have occurred in West Bengal and Chhattisgarh.</p>

<p>A health worker at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in New Delhi received India&#8217;s first shot of the Covid-19 vaccine on Saturday, making the world&#8217;s largest vaccination campaign a success.</p>
