New Delhi: The current ruling party, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is in the news for Bihar politics as Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has resigned and joined BJP, breaking the JDU-Congress alliance; The political leader also took oath as the Chief Minister of Bihar for the BJP government on the same evening.

Soon after this, prominent leaders of the National Conference led by Farooq Abdullah left their party and joined BJP. Calling it a ‘big blow for the National Conference in Jammu region’, the official page of ‘BJP Jammu & Kashmir’ on social media account ‘X’ (formerly known as Twitter) shared details of this big change. The leaders joining BJP include Kathua district NC president Sanjeev Khajuria alias Romi Khajuria and other officials.

As mentioned earlier, many prominent leaders of the National Conference under the leadership of Farooq Abdullah have left their political party to join the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Jammu and Kashmir. This sudden change is a big blow for Farooq Abdullah, who leads the party in Jammu region.

Many supporters and district officials, including Kathua district NC president Sanjeev Khajuria, also switched from National Conference to BJP. They joined the BJP at the party headquarters in Jammu, with the saffron party’s Jammu and Kashmir unit chief Ravinder Raina and other leaders welcoming the newcomers.

Sanjeev Khajuria highlights the impact of Modi government at the grassroots level

Sanjeev Khajuria, who led the Kathua district unit of the National Conference before joining the BJP, highlighted the grassroots impact of the Modi government’s welfare schemes and lauded the Prime Minister’s leadership for positioning India on the global stage. Along with him, many of his district officials also joined BJP.

Jammu and Kashmir BJP President Ravinder Raina highlights BJP’s commitment

During the program, Raina highlighted the BJP’s commitment to the welfare of people regardless of region or religion. “The BJP’s contribution and achievements in health care, education, infrastructure creation and socio-economic development are historic,” Raina said.

He also praised the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and attributed the country’s unity and progress to his “dedicated efforts”. Highlighting the inclusive approach of BJP, senior BJP leader Devinder Singh Rana said that every new entrant is welcomed into the party with love and harmony.

In another news, Nitish Kumar, who resigned from the post of Bihar CM for the JDU-Congress alliance, was given the charge of Deputy CM of Bihar by the Governor yesterday, January 29. After this he took oath for the ninth time. Later in the evening as the Chief Minister of Bihar for the BJP government.

New Delhi: A search operation was carried out by a joint team of police and army in Tral on receipt of information about the presence of terrorists in the area. During this time, an encounter between the militants and the security forces started. As soon as the security forces reached the place where the terrorists were hiding, they started heavy firing, after which the security forces also retaliated and killed 7 terrorists.

Police said today that seven militants have been killed in two separate operations of security forces in Jammu and Kashmir. Four army personnel have been injured in the encounters, with police saying their condition is now stable.

Five militants were killed during an operation in Shopian district. The operation was carried out in the area on Thursday. The slain militants are believed to be members of Ansar Gajwat-ul Hind (AGH), a fundamentalist group in Kashmir affiliated to al-Qaeda.

On Friday morning, five militants were killed by security forces in two encounters at Tral and Shopian in Jammu and Kashmir.

According to police, in Shopian, at least one terrorist took refuge in a mosque after an overnight encounter. The encounter started in Shopian city on Thursday evening. Police said 4 militants have been killed by security forces. Four security personnel were also injured in the shelling.

Inspector General of Police Vijay Kumar said, “We sent people including the Imam of the mosque inside to convince the pious terrorists to surrender. But they refused and resorted to firing.”

He said that he used tear smoke shells to drive out the terrorists so as not to cause serious damage to the mosque.

“We were able to save the mosque and also killed five terrorists inside it,” Mr. Kumar said.

In the encounter, two militants managed to escape during the initial shootout, but were eventually chased and killed in the Tral area of Pulwama this morning, the officer said.

During counter-terrorism operations, police and security forces destroy targeted homes where terrorists are suspected to be hiding.

On Thursday, a palatial house on the outskirts of Srinagar was damaged following which the police suspected the terrorists to be inside. But after a 17-hour-long operation, no one was found.

A police official said that among the slain terrorists is Imtiaz Shah, the head of the AGH in Kashmir.

After this operation, the police said that Ansar Gajwat-ul Hind has been wiped out of Kashmir.

The proposed visit is 18 months after India’s implementation of amending Article 370 of India to restore 4G mobile Internet services in the Union Territory (UT) since February 5.

India’s decision to restore internet services was hailed by the US as an important step for local residents. Despite no change in America’s South Asia policy, the Biden administration has said it expects “continued political and economic progress” to restore normalcy in Jammu and Kashmir.

The group of foreign envoys are expected to hold talks with some members of the newly elected District Development Council (DDC), highlighting the government’s voting in the young DDC elections as a sign of local people’s confidence in “grassroots democracy” Want to And as the government says, their disapproval of any interference by external forces in India’s internal matter.

Security agencies are also informed about the threat from cross-border terrorism, which is continued by Indian authorities to Pakistan. The visit will also take place when Pakistan has been asked to maintain peace afresh, beginning with Army Chief Qamar Bajwa’s remark that Pakistan wants to extend a hand of peace in all directions. Pakistan’s PM Imran Khan has also said that India must first restore the special status of Jammu and Kashmir.

The Ambassador, who is likely to visit both Srinagar and Jammu, will form the third such delegation to visit the Valley from August 5, 2019, when the state was divided into separate union territories Ladakh and Jammu and Kashmir.

A group of 27 members of the European Parliament (MEP) visited Kashmir in October 2019 at the invitation of a Delhi-based think tank, as they had apparently expressed a desire to visit Kashmir in order to understand that terrorism could lead to India Is affecting A similar visit to Delhi-based foreign envoys was organized by government officials early next year.

The government also does not explicitly believe that such visits by foreign dignitaries can lead to internationalization of the Kashmir issue. As the government has previously stated, defending the visit by MEPs, it believes that such exchanges are in line with India’s foreign policy objectives, which encourage deeper people to approach people and It ultimately helps to foster greater relations that India does with other countries.
