New Delhi: The production of liquid oxygen, a key ingredient in the treatment of Covid patients, has increased tenfold, Prime Minister Narendra Modi told listeners in his monthly radio program “Mann Ki Baat” today.

“In general, we were producing 900 metric tons of liquid medical oxygen a day. Today, production has grown to 9,500 metric tons per day – an increase of about 10 percent,” the Prime Minister said, underlining the government fighiting effors from Coronavirus.
