Know here ‘Shraadh Vidhi’ and ways to prevent Pitra Dosh

New Delhi: Showing New Delhi to ancestors and deities in Shradh is an important ritual. Therefore it is necessary to know its scripture. The word ‘Shraddha’ is derived from the word ‘Shraddha’. It is impossible to return what our ancestors did for us who have left this world. Whatever is done for them with full devotion is called ‘Shraadh’. ‘Shraadh’ does not mean mere grateful remembrance of ancestors; But it is a method.

The original conception of ‘Shraadh Vidhi‘ is that of Atririshi, the son of Brahmadev. Atririshi narrated the ritual of Shradh prescribed by Brahmadev to one of his male descendants named Nimi. This customary practice continues even today.

Manu performed the first Shraddha ceremony, hence Manu is called Shraddhadev.

After the exile of Shri Ram along with Lakshmana and Janaki, Bharata visits them in the exile and informs them of the death of their father. Thereafter Shri Ram performs Shradh of his father as soon as possible.

Three stages of Shradh established in the order of history and the state of the present period – Agnaukaran, Pind Daan (Pind Daan is not done for small children and sannyasins, because they do not have attachment in the body), Brahmin food

In the present period, as in the past, no one performs Shradh-Paksha, etc., nor does any spiritual practice. That’s why most of everyone suffers from Pitra Dosha (distress due to the unsatisfaction of ancestors). There is a possibility of further Pitru Dosha or the present suffering is due to Pitru Dosha, it can only be told by advanced men. If it is not possible to meet an advanced man, then here are some symptoms of Pitrudosh – non-marriage, rift between husband and wife, non-pregnancy, miscarriage, premature birth of children, retarded or handicapped. Having a child, death of a child in childhood etc. Addiction, poverty, physical disease, such symptoms can also occur.

The chanting of the name of Lord Dattatreya ‘Shri Gurudev Dutt’ protects one from Pitru Dosh.

The power created by chanting ‘Shri Gurudev Datta’ creates a protective shield on all sides of the chanter and the ancestors gain momentum. Most people do not practice meditation. Therefore they are very much involved in Maya. Therefore, after death, the linga body of such persons remains unsatisfied and gets stuck in the mortal world. Due to the chanting of the name of Datta, the ancestors stuck in the mortal world get speed and they go to the next world according to their karma. This naturally reduces the intensity of suffering caused by them.

Even if there is no trouble of any kind, it should not cause any trouble in future, therefore, if there is even a little trouble, then chant ‘Shri Gurudev Dutt’ for 1 to 2 hours. For the rest of the time, there should be no suffering due to destiny and there should be spiritual progress, so the common man or the seeker of the primary stage should chant the name of the deity more and more.

If there is moderate distress, chant the name of the Kuldevata along with ‘Shri Gurudev Dutt’. Do the chanting for 2 to 4 hours daily. On Thursday, go to Datta Mandir and do seven rounds and sit and chant one or two rosaries throughout the year. After that continue chanting three rounds.

If there is severe pain, chant the name of the deity along with ‘Shri Gurudev Datta.’ Do the chanting for 4 to 6 hours daily. Go to a Jyotirlinga and perform the rituals like Narayan Bali, Nag Bali, Tripindi Shradh, Kaal Sarpashanti etc. Also, do spiritual practice by staying in a Dattakshetra or get their blessings by serving a saint.

Prohibited items in Shradh Karma – Vaividang, black pepper, Bijora lemon, Chichinda and Ram Dana, iron and steel (steel) metal utensils, red colored flowers

How does the food taken by a Brahmin reach the ancestors?

‘Brahmtej situated in the body of a Brahmin (priest) is awakened by chanting mantras in the rituals of Shraddha. Such priests when invocation of the ancestors and praying to the Vishvedevs leave anointed water on their Anodaka (Pind); Then the subtle-air is freed from that body, which is received by the ancestors. Whose Brahmatej is awakened, when such a priest takes the name of the ancestors and offers food to them, then he, the person performing the Shradh, and the ancestors get the virtue. Apart from this, the ancestors also get the blessings of the priests, due to which their speed increases further.

Most people understand that it is our duty to feed Brahmins in the name of ancestors. But, by not thinking like this, it should be believed that ‘the ancestors are eating food directly through the Brahmins.

When performing Shradh, how do they get the Havy (food) of Shradh by simply reciting the names and gotras of the ancestors?

According to the science of Spirituality, ‘Where there is a word, there is also its power, touch, form, taste and smell.’ Any object is a condensed form of the subtle Panchatattva-waves. Everything is made up of words, touch, form, taste and smell and is made with the help of the five elements.

The waves produced in the atmosphere by chanting the names and gotras of the ancestors in the Shradh, they move with the help of mantras and enter the lustful corpus of those linga deities wandering in the atmosphere and bring them to the place of Shradh, whose name is It is taken in chanting.

In this way, the ancestors of the specific name and gotra come to the place of Shradh by getting attracted by the specific mantra power and are satisfied after taking the food of Shradh. The waves generated in the atmosphere by the name sounds of the ancestors get their energy from the mantras recited during the Shradh. Then, the subtle effect of these energy-rich waves falls on the atmosphere, due to which the ancestors are compelled to receive the air in the form of air or touch.
