Web portal and mobile app ‘e-Sampada’ launched on the Good Governance Day

New Delhi: The Directorate of Property, Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs today dedicated a new web portal and mobile app – E-Sampada to the nation, with the objective of promoting transparency and accountability while ensuring the ease of life of citizens. This new application like allotment of more than one lakh government residential accommodation, allocation of office space for government organizations in 45 office complexes located in 28 cities, 1,176-holiday homerooms, and booking of sites like 5 Ashoka Road for social functions, etc. Provides a single window for services.

In an effort to provide ‘one country, one system’, the earlier four websites of the Directorate of Estate (gpra.nic.in, eawas.nic.in, estates.gov.in, holidayhomes.nic.in) and two mobile apps ( m-Awas & m-Ashoka5) has been integrated into one, paving the way for providing all services across the country on a single platform. The Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Housing and Urban Affairs, Shri Hardeep Singh Puri, today launched this website and mobile app in the presence of Housing and Urban Affairs Secretary Shri Durga Shankar Mishra and other senior officials.

Addressing the media at an event organized through a virtual medium, Shri Hardeep Singh Puri said that, it will promote e-governance to ensure transparency and accountability in providing various property services such as allocation, retention, regularization, and non-payment certificates, etc. Is an important step towards

Puri said that e-Sampada has been developed to simplify various processes and bring uniformity in the system across India. This facility will help to make life easier for the officers / departments of the Government of India as all services under this can be availed online on a single window, as well as live tracking of applications. Only real-time information on the use of assets and delivery of services will facilitate optimal utilization of resources. Automated processes will reduce human intervention and will also increase transparency.

Durga Shankar Mishra, Secretary in the Ministry said that, through e-Sampada, users get special features like specific dashboard, collection of service usage and information on actual topical status of license fee and dues. All types of payments and dues can be deposited cashless through digital mode. E-Sampada is user friendly and the device is user friendly. Those using it will have a visual experience of the services and will be able to provide online feedback.

The portal provides online facility for users across India to register complaints, present documents and attend virtual hearings. This will reduce administrative costs and will reduce the time spent circling the Directorate of Estate and save resources. E-Sampada mobile app and chatboat facility have been provided for better user experience. Service level benchmarks and activity logs for officers are also included to ensure accountability.

E-Sampada is online, paperless, cashless to avail all services across India.

The new web portal and mobile app has been developed by NIC. The mobile app will be available for Android as well as the iOS platform. This facility can be accessed from the web portal www.esampada.mohua.gov.in and the mobile app can be downloaded from Android Play Store / Apple App Store.
