Ask Pakistan: UP CM Adityanath says BrahMos missile was used during Operation Sindoor

On Sunday, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that India’s powerful BrahMos missile was glimpsed during Operation Sindoor, amid speculation that the weapon system may have been used during the India-Pakistan confrontation.

The UP CM’s remarks came a day after India and Pakistan agreed on a ceasefire after four days of fierce clashes. In all his glory, Adityanath said that the time had come to give a befitting blow to terrorism. The UP CM’s remarks came at the inauguration ceremony of the BrahMos Aerospace Integration and Testing Facility in Lucknow.

“What is BrahMos missile? You have seen a glimpse of the valour of the BrahMos missile during Operation Sindoor. And if you haven’t, ask the Pakistanis about the missile’s power,” Adityanath said in his speech at the event. He said, “Prime Minister Narendra Modi has declared that any incident of terrorism will be treated as a war. And until we completely eliminate terrorism, there will be no solution to this problem. The time has come to eliminate it and for this the whole of India has to unite in one voice under the leadership of Modi.” The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader described terrorism as a “dog’s tail” which can never be straightened. He said, “Terrorism will not adopt the language of love. We have to reply to it in its own language. And in this direction, India has given a message to the world through Operation Sindoor.

” ‘We have shown our strength’: Singh

Amid reports of India using BrahMos for the first time to attack targets in Pakistan during Operation Sindoor, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh said that Indian supersonic cruise missiles are a message of the strength of the armed forces and the country’s deterrence against the enemy. Addressing the event through video conference, Rajnath Singh said, “We have shown our strength to the world. Brahmos is a message of the strength of our armed forces and resistance against our enemy. Brahmos in itself is a message to our enemy.” He said, “The anti-India and terrorist organizations that attacked the forehead of Bharat Mata and wiped off the vermilion from the forehead of many families have been brought to justice by the Indian Army through ‘Operation Sindoor’. For this, today the whole country is saluting the Indian Armed Forces.” Singh said that Operation Sindoor has given a strong message that terrorists will not be safe even on the land across the border. “Operation Sindoor is not just a military action; it is a symbol of India’s political, social and strategic will. This operation shows India’s determination against terrorism as well as the strength and determination of its army. He said, “We have shown that whenever India takes action against terrorism, even the land across the border will not be safe for terrorists and their masters.
