Four people died after being attacked by CISF personnel in Cooch Behar district of West Bengal on Saturday following an attack by locals, who ‘attempted to snatch their rifles’.
A senior police official said that the incident took place in Sheetalkuchi area, when polling was going on.

Talking to an Election Commission official over the phone, Chatterjee said that polling station number 66 in Hooghly was attacked by locals. She also claimed that media professionals were attacked during the incident.
