He said that in the RJD legislature party meeting, the MLAs wished that I should become the CM, but the mandate of the people of Bihar was received by Nitish Kumar as Chief Minister, so we have considered him as our leader and he will be the CM of the new government.
Nitish Kumar’s current NDA government in Bihar, in which the alliance of BJP and JDU has broken. Nitish Kumar is going to Raj Bhavan, where he will submit the NDA government’s resignation to the Governor. Among the leaders who went to Raj Bhavan with Nitish, along with Tejashwi Yadav, there could be other leaders of the parties of the Grand Alliance.
It is believed that with the resignation of the NDA government, Nitish will stake claim to form a new government of the Grand Alliance. Since it is the compulsion of the Governor to give a chance to RJD as the largest party and the Grand Alliance as the largest coalition to form the government.
Sources say that 4 MLAs of Asaduddin Owaisi’s party wanted to break into JDU first but it is said that they were sent to RJD after persuasion so that RJD becomes the single largest party in the assembly so that if ever such an opportunity comes in future. The largest party RJD should get this opportunity.
