CBSE Exam 2021: CBSE board exam date sheet released, examinations to be held from May 4

New Delhi: The dates for the 10th and 12th board examination of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) were announced on Thursday by the Union Secondary Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank. With this, the wait for millions of students also ended. Nishank said that the board exams of class 10th and 12th will start from May 4 and continue till June 10, while the result will be declared on July 15. He also said that CBSE has reduced the syllabus of the examinations by 30 percent. Practical examinations will be started on 1 March 2021.

After concluding the address of the Education Minister, the date sheet of class 10 and class 12 board exam 2021 was uploaded on the official website of CBSE CBSE.nic.in. Pokhriyal had earlier said that the CBSE board exam would not be online and the exam would be conducted with the Covid-19 protocol.

This time CBSE has reduced the syllabus for both classes by 30% under special circumstances due to the Coronavirus epidemic. Board exams will be taken only on a reduced syllabus. Apart from this, the board has also made some important changes in the paper pattern.
