New Delhi: Schools in Delhi and Rajasthan, which have been closed for nearly 10 months due to corona virus infection, have been reopened from Monday. State governments have given some guidelines to open schools, which mainly include masking. Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has given permission to open schools for students of 10th and 12th standard from January 18.

However, the Delhi government has made it clear in the guidelines that children will come to school only with the consent of their parents. Today is the first day of school, but the attendance of students is very less.

On the other hand, the Education Minister of Rajasthan stated that the state government has given permission to open schools for classes 9th to 12th from January 18. For this, the state government has issued guidelines. In which the Corona rules will be taken care of and the officers of the Indian Administrative Service working in the districts and officers of the Rajasthan Administrative Service will visit the Higher Secondary School near the post office and observe the guidelines issued by the department.

Delhi Deputy CM Manish Sisodia told news agency ANI, “It is nice to see children back in schools. The children are also happy. Life is coming back on track. He was unhappy with long-term homework and online classes. Schools have been reopened with all protocols. “

Schools have been opened in the state today as per the order of the Delhi government. The process for students to reach school in the uniform has started. “We will ask all our questions to teachers and learn new patterns,” a student told news agency ANI. Along with this, we will follow the necessary rules like social distancing and masks. “

What are the guidelines

  1. Only children of 10th and 12th will be allowed to come to school with the consent of parents.
  2. The record of the students coming to the school will be kept, but it will not be the attendance of the student coming to the school.
  3. School opening will not be allowed in the Containment Zone. Apart from this, students and teachers living in the Containment Zone have also not been allowed to come to school.
  4. There will be no assembly in the school and physical outdoor activities of the students will also not be allowed.
  5. It will be necessary to follow the guidelines of social distancing at all points, including the entry and exit of children in the school.
  6. Delhi government is reopening schools keeping only pre-board examinations and during this time teachers will guide the students.
  7. Even after school opens, online classes will continue to run and home-based online classes will be able to attend.
  8. Students’ classes in schools will not last more than 4 to 5 hours. Classes will be conducted in two shifts after the number of students coming to class.
  9. There will be no pick-drop facility from the schools and students will have to reach the school by themselves.
  10. Schools will have facilities for washing hands on every floor and sanitizers will be kept in every classroom for students. Apart from this, the room will be sanitized before and after class.

Guidelines for Laboratories

  1. Only 12 to 15 students will be allowed to be inside the labs at the same time. The lab time table is yet to be approved by the Directorate of Education of NCT of Delhi.
  2. The same group of students will be put together to reduce contact between students.
  3. Hand cleaning should be done in laboratories.
