Street foods like golgappas, chaat and pakoras are delicious but are often prepared and stored in unhygienic conditions. The water used in these dishes may not be safe, leading to the risk of gastrointestinal infections. It is best to eat these dishes from reliable and clean sources.

Leafy vegetables
Leafy vegetables like spinach, cabbage and lettuce are prone to contamination during monsoon. They may harbor dirt, bacteria and parasites, which can cause digestive problems or infections. Choose well-washed and properly cooked vegetables to minimise the risk
