The glass-roofed Vistadome coaches of Indian Railways provide an exciting train journey to the passengers. Presently, 45 trains are being operated on the Indian Railways network, which includes Vistadome coaches.
Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav recently in a written reply to a question in Rajya Sabha said that Vistadome train travel routes are selected on the basis of scenic natural beauty. The Union Minister further mentioned that the allocation of Vistadome coaches is based on various factors like availability of Vistadome coaches, its operational viability, day trip of the train, load limits as well as the demand of passengers. Have a look at the zone-wise list of trains given below, which have Vistadome coaches:

1) Central Railway Zone: Train No. 11007/08 Mumbai-Pune Express, Train No. 12051/52 Mumbai-Margao Express and Train No. 12123/24 Deccan Queen Express
2) East Coast Railway Zone: Train No. 18551/52 Visakhapatnam – Kirandul Express (up to Araku)
3) Northeast Frontier Railway Zone: Train No. 15777/78 Alipurduar-New Jalpaiguri Express, Train No. 15887/88 Guwahati-Badarpur Express, Train No. 15907/08 Tinsukia-Naharlagun Express as well as Train No. 52593/95/98/44, 52541, 52540, 52556 Darjeeling Himalayan Railway (NG)
4) Western Railway Zone: Train No. 20947/48 Ahmedabad – Kevadiya Express, Train No. 20949/50 Ahmedabad – Kevadiya Express, Train No. 52965/66 Mhow – Patalpani – Kalakund (MG) as well as Train No. 09501/02, 09071/ 72 Bilimora – Waghai (NG)
