Mumbai: 20 gelatin sticks were found in an SUV car outside Antilia, home of billionaire Mukesh Ambani, in Mumbai on Thursday. The SUV was spotted on the Scorpio car near Peddar road, near the famous Antilia, which is the residence of Mukesh Ambani.
Ambani’s security guards spotted the unidentified vehicle on Thursday evening and immediately informed the local police. As soon as the information was received, several policemen from Gamdevi police station reached the spot and started investigating the SUV. The bomb squad was also called to the spot. After examining the vehicle, officers found about 20 gelatin sticks inside it. The dog squad has also been dispatched to the spot.
According to Mumbai Police, some number plates were also found inside the SUV. The number plates inside the vehicle allegedly match those used in Mukesh Ambani’s security detail.
Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh also confirmed to have found gelatin sticks inside a car near Mukesh Ambani’s house and said that the Mumbai Crime Branch is investigating the case.
