Mumbai: After the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) raided Arjun Rampal’s Mumbai home, the Bollywood actor was summoned in connection with the drugs racket and called to the NCB office for questioning. This action is believed to be part of the already ongoing investigation of NCB in connection with the Bollywood drugs racket. Arjun Rampal and his girlfriend Gabriela Demetriades have also been called by the NCB for questioning on 11 November. Earlier, Bangalore police also searched the house of actor Vivek Oberoi. Bangalore Police had reached Mumbai in search of Vivek’s brother-in-law Aditya Selva.
According to news agency ANI, Gabriela Demetriades, the girlfriend of actor Arjun Rampal, was summoned by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) on 11 November. The NCB today raided Arjun Rampal’s premises and summoned him to join the investigation into the drug-related case on 11 November. In October, NCB arrested Gabriela’s brother Agicillos Demetriades and allegedly recovered drugs during a raid at his home.
Prior to Arjun Rampal, NCB had raided the home of filmmaker Feroze Nadiadwala and confirmed the drugs were recovered from there. The investigating agency has arrested Shabana Saeed, wife of Feroz Nadiadwala. While Feroze was called for questioning today, his wife Shabana was taken for medical examination.
