PM Modi will hold a high-level meeting on Corona today, six states also called a meeting

Earlier, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal and Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde will also hold a meeting with their respective state officials today to review the Corona cases.

In India, 185 new cases of corona virus infection have been reported in a day. With this, the total number of people infected so far in the country has increased to 4,46,76,515. At the same time, the number of active patients in the country has remained 3402.

According to the data released by the Union Health Ministry till 8 am on Thursday, after the death of one more patient due to infection in Delhi, the death toll has increased to 5,30,681. The number of patients under treatment for corona virus infection has come down to 3,402, which is 0.01 percent of the total cases. In the last 24 hours, a decrease of six cases has been registered in the number of patients under treatment.

According to statistics, the national rate of recovery of patients in India is 98.80 percent. So far, a total of 4,41,42,432 people have become infection free in the country, while the death rate from Covid-19 is 1.19 percent. According to the website of the Ministry of Health, 220.03 doses of anti-Covid-19 vaccines have been given so far under the nationwide vaccination campaign.

CM will hold meeting in Karnataka today

Karnataka Health Minister K Sudhakar has said that today a meeting has been called to review the corona cases in the state. The meeting will be headed by Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai. The minister said that further guidelines will be decided on the basis of the instructions of the CM.

Chairman Jagdeep Dhankhar arrived in the Rajya Sabha on Thursday wearing a mask. Expressing concern over the increase in cases of corona infection in different countries, he asked the members to be fully alert and take extra precautions. At the commencement of the meeting of the Upper House, the Chairman said that the cases of corona virus infection are increasing in many countries and this situation is worrisome. He said that there is a need to be vigilant and take extra precautions in view of the increasing cases of Covid.

He said that the Members of Parliament have to set an example in front of the public and unite to take the country forward. He said that due to the coordinated efforts of all, India has overcome the challenge of Covid.

Om Birla reached the Lok Sabha wearing a mask

Like the Chairman of the Rajya Sabha, Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla also reached the House wearing a mask on Thursday. He drew attention to the re-activation of Covid-19 in some countries and suggested everyone to be careful and follow the safety measures.

CM Yogi is conducting a review meeting on Corona

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath chaired a meeting with Task Force Team-9 constituted to monitor the Corona situation.

The Director General of Health Services will today take stock of the Covid situation in all government hospitals run by the central government present in Delhi. It has been told that they will also examine the preparations made in the hospitals to deal with the corona.

Six states called a review meeting

The number of states convening a high-level review meeting today regarding the situation in Corona is increasing continuously. After UP, Delhi, Karnataka, Maharashtra, now Punjab and Tamil Nadu have also called meetings to discuss the situation.

Congress taunts PM’s Covid meeting to be held today

The Congress has taken a dig at the meeting called by Prime Minister Narendra Modi today regarding the new threat of Covid pandemic. The Congress said on Thursday, ‘Understand the chronology’. The party was referring to the letter written by Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya to Congress leader Rahul Gandhi. In this letter, Mandaviya urged Rahul to reconsider his Bharat Jodo Yatra due to the new concern of Covid.
