The Rashtriya Lok Samata Party has decided to merge with JD (U) under the leadership of Nitish Kumar: Upendra Kushwaha. Demanding the current political situation, Kushwaha said of the merger, Rashtriya Lok Samata Party (RLSP) chief Upendra Kushwaha confirmed on Sunday.
The party has decided to merge with Janata Dal-United (JD-U) under the leadership of Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. He said that the decision has been taken in the interest of the nation and the state. Making the announcement, Kushwaha said, “In the interest of the nation and the state, like-minded people in Bihar should come together. This is the demand of the present political. Circumstance.”
He said, therefore, the Rashtriya Lok Samata Party has decided to merge with JD (U) under the leadership of Nitish Kumar. Now we are standing with them.
The party was formed by RLSP President Upendra Kushwaha in 2013 and successfully contested three seats as a constituent of the NDA in the 2014 Lok Sabha elections. The party won two seats in the 2015 assembly elections as a partner to the NDA, but gained a vacancy as the Grand Alliance in the 2018 Lok Sabha elections. Ghatak as a partner of the Second Front and the 2020 assembly elections.
