There is a possibility of frost in the plains of North India in the next two-three days. Temperatures in Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, and Madhya Pradesh may also fall. Rain will continue in some states of the country. According to the Meteorological Department, dense fog is likely to occur at different places in UP and Bihar during the next 2 days.
4 degree of mercury is expected to fall in Rajasthan. In Bihar, Odisha, West Bengal and Sikkim, the effect of rain and frost is likely to persist. Rain is also being forecast in Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh and Delhi and Uttarakhand.
According to the Meteorological Department, cold northwest winds will start coming from the mountains to the lowlands, causing a drop in the above normal temperatures in the plains cities of North India including Delhi-NCR.
Also, in many cities, the minimum temperature will fall again below normal and there will be many areas where cold conditions can occur in the next 24 to 48 hours.
Light rain may occur in some areas of Punjab and Haryana. Due to snowfall in the mountains, it has been forecast to rain here for the next two days. At the same time, there is pressure of western disturbance in Jammu and Kashmir and the game of hide and seek is going on in the whole of Jammu and Kashmir between the clouds and the sun.
By evening there is a possibility of cloudy and dense, then rain and light snowfall may occur at some places.
