New Delhi: The Supreme Court on Friday granted interim bail to Delhi Chief Minister and AAP national convenor Arvind Kejriwal in the money laundering case linked to the Delhi excise policy case.
However, despite getting bail in the Enforcement Directorate (ED) case, Kejriwal will continue to remain in jail as he is in custody in the case initiated by the CBI.
Justice Sanjiv Khanna said, “Arvind Kejriwal has been in jail for more than 90 days. He is an elected leader and it is up to him whether he wants to continue in the post or not.”
The Supreme Court also referred his plea challenging his arrest by the ED to a larger bench.
