Ayushmann and Rakul will be seen sharing screen space together for the first time in ‘Doctor Ji’. While Ayushmann will play the role of Dr. Uday Gupta, the actress will appear in the role of Dr. Fatima, a medical student, who is Ayushmann’s senior in the film. The concept of the film is unique, interesting and something we haven’t seen in mainstream cinema and the wait will definitely be sweet!

The film is co-written and directed by Anubhuti Kashyap. The film is written by Sumit Saxena, Vishal Wagh and Saurabh Bharat.

Rakul Preet Singh is an Indian film actress and model who works mainly in Telugu, Tamil, and Hindi films. He has received three Filmfare Award South nominations and is the recipient of one SIIMA Award.

She started her career as a model while in college, during which she made her acting debut in the Kannada film Gilli 2009. In 2011 she participated in the Femina Miss India pageant, placing fifth and winning five best titles including People’s. The choices are Miss Indiatimes, Pantaloons Femina Miss Fresh Face, Femina Miss Talented, Femina Miss Beautiful Smile, and Femina Miss Beautiful Eyes.

She later opted to become a full-time actress, making her Telugu debut in Keratam in the same year and her Tamil debut in Thadiyara Thakka the following year. In 2014, he also made his Hindi debut in Yaariyan in which he performed well.

In 2017, she was appointed as the brand ambassador for the Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao program by the Telangana state government.
