New Delhi: Special webinar marathon- ‘Industry churn’ in association with Quality Council of India, National Productivity Council and other industry bodies to increase productivity and quality in Indian industries, Department of Industry Promotion and Internal Trade, under the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India Is organizing It started on 4 January 2021 and will run till 2 March 2021. Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal will preside over the session on 6 January 2021 tomorrow.
The 45-session webinar series covers various key parts of manufacturing and services. Each webinar will have a two-hour session, with a program to discuss under the leadership of regional and industry-specific experts in a particular field. The event will also include representatives from industry, testing and standards bodies. All these sessions will be streamed live on YouTube for everyone interested.
‘Industry churn’ will identify challenges and opportunities; Will draw attention to solutions and best practices. This conversation will enable learning across industries and sectors to increase quality and productivity, as well as to realize the vision of ‘Self-reliant India’ to promote ‘Vocal for Local’.
Piyush Goyal has called on the Indian industry to focus on improving quality and productivity and to start a brainstorming session on these aspects, thereby recognizing the country as a high quality, skilled manufacturer, trader and service provider.
