New Delhi: The central government has stepped up its preparations to deal with this deadly virus amid the Corona crisis. The central government has started a dry run of Covid-19 vaccine in Andhra Pradesh, Assam, Gujarat, and Punjab. The purpose of this dry run is to take stock of all preparations before vaccination. An investigation into cold storage and transportation is also part of the dry run. This program will be held in select districts of the four states. According to the Ministry of Health, a dry run is planned in two districts of each state.
During this dry run, all 4 states will submit their reports to the central government. The government plans to provide vaccination to 300 million people in the first phase after the vaccination program is started. So far, 2,360 training sessions have been conducted and 7,000 employees including medical officers have been trained.
There will be 5-5 sessions at the designated places in the four states identified. 25 beneficiaries have been identified for each session. During the dry run, the operational feasibility of the specially made electronic application Co-Win will be evaluated to identify the beneficiaries and provide the vaccine.
Please tell that in the Krishna district of Andhra Pradesh, the coronavirus vaccination program will be rehearsed on Monday. Andhra Pradesh is one of the 4 states that have been selected by the Center to rehearse the Kovid-19 vaccine on December 28.
According to the news agency, Health Commissioner K.K. Bhaskar K said, “The aim of the rehearsal is to test the operational and prescribed mechanisms for the Covid-19 vaccination in the state.” It will provide information about any shortfalls or hiccups so that they can be addressed before the actual campaign starts. “He said that after the rehearsal, we will prepare a report for the state workforce, which will review the feedback. And guide us towards further actions. The commissioner said that the report would also be submitted to the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.
