New Delhi: The number of corona-infected patients in India has reduced to 1,92,308 today. Currently, the number of infected patients has reduced to 1.81 percent as compared to the total cases detected so far. The number of infected patients is decreasing significantly as the number of people getting free from infection every day and new cases of infection decreases. In the last 24 hours, the number of total infected patients has reduced by 4,893 cases at present.
As per the national trend of continuous decline in the number of infected patients, 17 states / UTs have reported less than the national average per million population. In India, 7,689 cases of corona have been detected per million population.
Five states of the country – Kerala, Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, Karnataka, and West Bengal – found 73 percent new cases of infection.
A total of 8,06,484 beneficiaries have been vaccinated till 7 am on January 21, 2021. In the last 24 hours, 1,31,649 people were vaccinated in 2,398 sessions. 14,118 sessions have been held so far.
In the last 24 hours, 19,965 patients of Corona were cured.
So far, a total of 1,02,65,706 patients of Corona have been cured, indicating an infection-free 96.75 percent.
In 10 states/union territories, the number of new patients recovering from corona infection has been found to be 87.06 percent.
A maximum of 7,364 patients was cured in a single day in Kerala. After this, 4,589 new patients have been healthy in Maharashtra.
83.84 percent of new cases of corona have been detected in 8 states/union territories.
A maximum of 6,815 daily new cases was detected in Kerala in the last 24 hours. 3,015 new cases were found in Maharashtra, while 594 new cases were reported in Chhattisgarh yesterday.
In the last 24 hours, 83.44 percent of cases of 151 deaths from Corona were found in eight states/union territories.
There were 59 deaths from Corona in Maharashtra. In Kerala and Chhattisgarh, 18 and 10 new cases of death were reported respectively.
19 states/union territories reported fewer deaths per million population than the national average. The number of deaths per million in India is 111, while the death rate is 1.44 percent.
On the other hand, 17 states/union territories have reported more deaths per million population than the national average.
