New Delhi: As significant progress in India’s vaccination campaign, 28 crore COVID vaccines have been administered in the country till tomorrow i.e. June 20. According to the report received at 7 am, a total of 28,00,36,898 Covid vaccines were administered in 38,24,408 sessions. 30,39,996 vaccines have been administered in the last 24 hours.
The universal phase of COVID-19 vaccination begins today. The Central Government is committed to accelerate and expand the scope of COVID-19 vaccination across the country. The nationwide COVID-19 vaccination program was launched by Hon’ble Prime Minister on 16 January 2021.
In the last 24 hours, 53,256 new Kovid-19 cases have been registered in India, which is the lowest figure in the last 88 days. There is a steady decline in Kovid-19 cases in India.
For the 14th consecutive day, less than one lakh new cases have been registered in India. This is the result of continuous efforts and mutual cooperation of the Central and State Governments.
There is also a huge decline in the total active Kovid-19 in the country. The total active cases in the country today stand at 7,02,887.
There has been a decrease of 26,356 cases in the last 24 hours and now only 2.35 percent of the total positive cases in the country are active cases.
As more and more people are now recovering from Kovid-19 infection, the number of people recovering from Kovid in the country has exceeded the number of new cases daily for the 39th consecutive day. In the last 24 hours, 78,190 patients have recovered.
About 25000 (24934) patients have been cured in the last 24 hours as against the total number of recorded Covid cases.
Out of the total infected people since the beginning of this epidemic, 2,88,44,199 people have already recovered while 78190 people have been cured in the last 24 hours. With this, if the rate of total recovery is estimated, then it is 96.36 percent and in which the continuous increase is going on.
With unprecedented improvement in the corona testing capacity across the country, 13,88,699 tests were conducted in the last 24 hours and so far the total corona test figure has reached 39.24 crore (39,24,07,782).
While on one hand the number of corona tests has been increased in the country, there has also been a decrease in the positive cases of corona in the country. While the weekly positivity rate of Corona has been 3.32 percent, the daily positivity rate is 3.83 percent. This rate has been less than 5 percent for the last 14 consecutive days.
