Corona Update: Increase in number of patients recovering from last 37 days, decrease in new cases

New Delhi: India’s active cases continue to decline. Today, the total number of active cases has reached below 2.5 lakh (2,47,220). This has been possible due to the increase in the rate of recovery of new patients per day and a decrease in the death rate. The total number of confirmed cases in the present active cases of India is only 2.39 percent. In the last 24 hours, 20,923 patients have recovered, and active cases have declined by 2,963. There are less than 10,000 active cases in 29 states/union territories.

For the last 37 days, the number of healthy cases registered in the country is more than the number of new cases reported daily. The number of daily new cases in the last 24 hours is 18,177. However, 20,923 patients have recovered and have been discharged from the hospital.

Today, the recovery rate has increased by 96.16 percent due to increase in the number of cases of healthy patients.

The total number of cases recovered is 99,27,310. The interval between the number of cured cases and the number of active cases has been steadily increasing and is currently at 96,80,090.

78.10 percent of the newly recovered cases are from 10 states / union territories.

In Kerala, 4,985 new maximum patients a day are reported to be healthy. The number of healthy patients in Maharashtra is 2,110 followed by Chhattisgarh with 1,963.

81.81 percent of new cases have been confirmed from 10 states and union territories.

Kerala has the highest number of 5,328 new cases reported daily. Subsequently, 3,218 new cases have been confirmed in Maharashtra. 1,147 new cases have been registered in Chhattisgarh.

In the last 24 hours, 217 deaths have been recorded.

Ten.5 States / Union Territories have recorded 69.59 percent new deaths. Maharashtra has the highest number of deaths (51). West Bengal and Kerala have recorded 28 and 21 daily deaths respectively.
