New Delhi: More than 58 lakh (58,12,362) beneficiaries have been vaccinated till 8 am on 8 February 2021 on the 24th day of the ongoing Covid-19 vaccination campaign across the country. In the last 24 hours, 36,804 people were vaccinated in 1,304 sessions. So far 1,16,487 sessions of immunization have been conducted. The number of beneficiaries who are being vaccinated every day is increasing.

India has achieved an important feat in the war against Covid-19 by registering less than 150 deaths per day in the last 10 days. Only 84 deaths have been recorded in the last 24 hours.

Standardized clinical management protocols, along with immediate identification and tracking, invasive and comprehensive testing, have helped to ensure reduced mortality. With this, the number of positive cases encountered every day has also reduced.

As part of the Covid management and response policy, the central government’s main focus is not only on reducing the number of deaths due to Covid, but also on reducing the deaths as well as providing quality treatment by saving the lives of serious Covid patients. Also remained.

Due to the coordinated efforts of the Central and State / UT Governments, deaths in Covid cases could be reduced.

17 states / UTs did not report any death in the last 24 hours. These states include Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Daman and Diu and Dadra and Nagar Haveli, Arunachal Pradesh, Tripura, Mizoram, Nagaland, Lakshadweep, Ladakh (Union Territory), Sikkim, Rajasthan, Meghalaya, Madhya Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Puducherry, Andhra Pradesh , Odisha and Assam.

In the last 24 hours, the number of active cases in the country has decreased further to 1,48,609. The number of active cases in the country is 1.37 percent of the total positive cases.

In the last 24 hours, 11,831 new confirmed cases have been registered in the country. With this, 11,904 new patients have become healthy during this period.

81 states account for 81% of the total active cases in the country. Two states, Kerala and Maharashtra, have reported 70 percent of the total active cases in the country.

There are less than 5,000 active cases reported in 33 States / UTs.

In line with the national trend, the States / UTs have also registered a substantial decline in the number of active cases.

Maharashtra recorded the largest decline in active cases last month, followed by Uttar Pradesh.

The number of healthy patients in the country at present is more than 1.05 crore (1,05,34,505). The gap between active cases and healthy patients has been steadily increasing and has now increased to 10,385,896. The health rate is 97.20 percent.

Out of the total new cases, 80.53 percent have been reported in 6 states. Kerala has the highest number of patients (5,948), Maharashtra (1,622) and Uttar Pradesh (670).

Of the new cases, 85.85 percent cases have been reported in 6 states.

Kerala has recorded the highest number of 6,075 new cases per day. 2,673 new cases have been registered in Maharashtra and 487 in Karnataka.

In the last 24 hours, 84 patients have died due to Covid-19. Of these, 79.76 percent deaths occurred in six states.

Maharashtra recorded the highest number of 30 deaths and 19 deaths per day in Kerala.
