New Delhi: As per provisional report till 7 am today, 6.30 crore (6,30,54,353) vaccine doses were given in 10,46,757 sessions. These include 82,16,239 HCW (first dose), 52,19,525 HCW (second dose), 90,48,417 FLW (first dose) and 37,90,467 FLW (second dose), 73,52,957 over 45 years of age with specific diseases. Beneficiaries (first dose) and 6,824 (second dose) and above the age of 60 years, 2,93,71,422 beneficiaries (first dose) and 48,502 beneficiaries (second dose) have been given.
A total of 19,40,999 vaccine doses were given across the country on the 74th day of Covid-19 vaccination (30 March 2021). Of these, 17,77,637 beneficiaries were given the first dose in 39,666 sessions and the second dose of vaccine was given to 1,63,632 beneficiaries.
Eight states – Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh, Karnataka, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Gujarat, Punjab and Madhya Pradesh – recorded an increase in new cases of daily corona, with 84.73 percent new cases reported in these 8 states. In the last 24 hours, 53,480 new cases were registered.
Maharashtra has the highest number of new cases filed per day at 27,918. This was followed by Chhattisgarh 3,108 and Karnataka with 2,975 new cases.
The eight states shown are still registering an increase in daily new cases of corona.
The number of active coronas (case load) in the country today reached 5,52,566. This is 4.55 percent of the total positive cases. There has been an increase of 11,846 cases in total active cases (case load) in the last 24 hours.
Five states – Maharashtra, Karnataka, Kerala, Punjab and Chhattisgarh – account for 79.30 per cent of the total active cases of corona in the country and Maharashtra accounts for 61 per cent of the total active cases in the country.
The overall number of people recovering in India today stands at 1,14,34,301. The national recovery rate is 94.11 percent.
In the last 24 hours, 41,280 cases have been cured.
In the last 24 hours, 354 people have died from covid.
In the case of daily death, 82.20 percent of the deaths occurred in six states. In the last 24 hours, 64 people died in Maharashtra from Covid (139) and in Punjab.
In fourteen states / union territories, no deaths have been reported from Covid-19 in the last 24 hours. These states / union territories include Rajasthan, Assam, Odisha, Ladakh, Daman and Diu and Dadra and Nagar Haveli, Manipur, Tripura, Sikkim, Lakshadweep, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Nagaland and Arunachal Pradesh.
