Corona Update: Number of active cases stable, investigation figure crosses 14 cr

New Delhi: In the last 24 hours nationwide, only 38,772 persons were found infected with Kovid. In the same period, the number of people recovering from corona infection in the country was reported to be 45,333, ensuring a net reduction of 7,004 cases in the number of active cases (case load). The reduction in the number of active cases (case load) of Kovid in India has ensured that the current number of Kovid cases in India is 4,46,952 which is only 4.74% of the total positive cases in India.

Today, the recovery rate has risen to 93.81% as the number of people recovering from corona virus infection is higher than new cases. So far the total number of people recovering from corona infection has increased to 88,47,600. The difference between the number of people recovering from an infection and its active cases, which is steadily increasing, is currently 84,00,648 i.e. 19.8 times the active cases.

Karnataka, Maharashtra, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh have recorded the highest decline in active cases in the last one month.

On the other hand, active cases of corona infection are being recorded in Madhya Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, Delhi, Haryana and Rajasthan.

India today has crossed a milestone in its fight against Kovid, crossing the 14 million mark of the Kovid test. There have been 8,76,173 trials in the last 24 hours. India has increased its per day capacity of Kovid testing to 1.5 million.

Ten states / UTs account for 78.31% of the new cases registered in the last 24 hours.

In the past 24 hours, 5,643 new cases were registered in Kerala while Maharashtra, at number two, registered around 5,544 new cases. In Delhi, 4,906 new cases were registered yesterday.

Ten states / union territories account for 76.94% of new cases recovering from the disease.

With the recovery of 6,325 people from Kovid, Delhi recorded the largest number of recoveries. Kerala recorded 5,861 daily recoveries, while 4,362 people a day in Maharashtra recovered from the disease.

Out of 443 cases of death due to this disease in the last 24 hours, 78.56% cases are from ten states / union territories. Nationally, the death rate due to this disease has come down to 1.45%. India is one of the few countries in the world where this disease is causing the lowest deaths per million population in the world, at present the rate is 99.4 per million.

19.18% of new deaths from the disease occurred in Maharashtra where 85 deaths have been recorded. At the same time, 68 people died in Delhi while 54 new deaths occurred in West Bengal.
