Decentralization of the map of India by the American organization ‘Freedom House’,

New Delhi: America’s Freedom House, which values the independence of various countries around the world, has shown a map of India on its website www.house.org. Andaman Nicobar and Lakshadweep have not been shown in India from these regions of India, Kashmir region, Aksai China. Kashmir is an inseparable part of India. Nevertheless, the ‘Freedom House’ has referred to Kashmir as ‘Pakistani Kashmir’ and Aksai China. This area is shown in the map of China.

It is a denaturation of the map of India and an insult to India. The Hindu Janajagruti Samiti publicly condemns this institution. In this case, the Government of India should correspond with this institution and inform them to publish the appropriate map by removing the wrong map of India; Otherwise, the Hindu Janajagruti Samiti has asked the Government of India to take appropriate action on this institution.

The committee has requested the Union Home Minister, Central Information and Broadcasting and Survey Department of India to take action in this regard. A map of India published by the Government of India should be considered as proof and should be used universally. Reconstruction of the map of India is a punishable offense as per Section 2 (1) of Section 19 (19) (Reform) of the Indian Criminal Penal Code.

The deviation of the map of India by ‘Freedom House’ brought disrepute to India and hurt the sentiments of all patriotic Indians. Therefore, we demand that the Government of India, in correspondence with the ‘Freedom House’ organization, immediately ask for the removal of this map and publish the map. This institution should ask for a public apology from India. Failure to do so should take appropriate steps to act on them.

It has been informed by the Hindu Janajagruti Samiti that an ‘online camp’ will be implemented to condemn the institution of ‘Freedom House’ and to prevent insult to the national flag.
