New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said that every small and big city in the country is going to be the center of India’s economy, but Delhi as the national capital should reveal its 21st-century grandeur by making its presence in the world.

PM Modi said that many efforts are being made to modernize the old city. The Prime Minister was addressing the function through video conference to mark the inauguration of the first Metro operation without a driver and the launch of the National Common Mobility Card up to the Airport Express Line of the Delhi Metro.

Prime Minister Modi said that the government has encouraged electric mobility by giving tax exemption. He said that the old infrastructure of the capital is being converted into modern technology-based infrastructure. This thinking is manifested in the provision of improving the living conditions of the slum dwellers by regularizing hundreds of colonies and converting old government buildings into eco-friendly modern structures.

The Prime Minister emphasized that Delhi is an old tourist destination and simultaneously the work of developing 21st-century attractions in Delhi is going on. He said that Delhi is becoming a favorite place for international conferences, international exhibitions, and international business tourism. Therefore, the largest center of the country is being built in the Dwarka area of ​​the capital. Similarly, work is underway for the new Parliament House along with the huge Bharat Vandana Park. This will not only provide employment to thousands of people of Delhi but will also change the appearance of Delhi.
