Education policy is the focus of the two-day BJP-RSS coordination meeting

A two-day meeting of the RSS and the BJP began in Delhi on Tuesday to discuss the broader framework of the National Education Policy (NEP).

The meeting, which began early on Tuesday, is being chaired by senior RSS leaders Krishna Gopal and Arun Kumar. Party General Secretary CT Ravi is participating from the BJP side. On the first day, leaders of Vidya Bharati, the education wing of RSS, also attended the meeting. Vidya Bharti has expressed concern over the availability of trained teachers in regional languages ​​and the resistance of some states in implementing the NEP.

“We have held several closed-door meetings over the last few days on education, culture and economy. Points will be filled. (RSS chief) Mohan Bhagwat ji had also held several meetings in Kashmir, where targeted killings of Hindus are a major concern for us.

He said that in the last few days, writers writing books on Sangh ideologues are under constant attack and the RSS is devising an effective strategy to “counter them”.

The school curriculum was also discussed on Tuesday and Vidya Bharati leaders wanted to know whether the government as well as the party were working on their recommendations.

Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan will also attend the meeting on Wednesday where he will present the government’s stand on the implementation of the NEP.
