End of Indo-Uzbekistan training exercise ‘Dustlik’ in Ranikhet, Uttarakhand

New Delhi: The second edition of the India-Uzbekistan Joint Field Training Exercise Dustlik ended on Friday, 19 March 2021, after a mutual 10-day mutual exercise.

The joint exercise, which began on March 10, 2021, focused on sharing expertise on weapons skills, with emphasis on counter-insurgency / counter-terrorism operations in the urban landscape. The exercise also provided soldiers of both armies with the opportunity to promote lasting professional and social relationships.

The joint exercise of the two armies came to an end after intensive military training, with the military of the two countries demonstrating their combat power and dominance over the terrorist groups during the exercise. The closing ceremony showcased immense talent with unique traditional contacts between the two countries. Senior officials expressed satisfaction and gratitude for the commercial operation of the practice.

The fellowship, team spirit and goodwill that arose during the exercise will further strengthen the relationship between the armed forces of the two countries in the future.
