Parliament Today Live Update: A day after Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman presented the Union Budget 2021-22, the Rajya Sabha on Tuesday witnessed dramatic scenes on farm laws.
Opposition parties, including Congress, Left, TMC and DMK, walked out of the Upper House four times on Tuesday after their demand to suspend the day’s business to discuss the farmer movement over two months old. Opposition parties had given notice to suspend day trading under Rule 267 to discuss the agitation issued by farmers on Delhi’s borders against three new farm laws.

On the second day of the budget session, 27 Bills passed by the Houses of Parliament during the fourth session of the 17th Lok Sabha will be introduced in the lower house on Tuesday. In today’s Lok Sabha session, coal and steel, Ministry of Home Affairs, Health and Family Welfare, and other standards committee reports will also be presented. After the Lower House Assembly at 4 pm, General Secretary Utpal Kumar Singh will prepare a table of 27 Bills passed by the Houses of Parliament during the fourth session of the seventeenth Lok Sabha and will be approved by President Ram Nath Kovind.
