Here’s How Justin Bieber Canceled His Shows in Toronto and Washington due to suffering from Ramsay Hunt syndrome

Los Angeles: Justin Bieber says a rare disorder that paralyzed half of the superstar artist’s face is the reason for his tour to be postponed. The multi-Grammy winner is suffering from Ramsay Hunt syndrome, he said in a video posted on Instagram on Friday. The syndrome causes facial paralysis and affects the facial nerves through outbreaks of herpes.

Bieber’s post comes after his shows in Toronto and Washington DC were canceled. The singer showed in the video that he could barely move one side of his face, describing the illness as very serious. “For those disappointed by my cancellation of the next show, I’m just physically, apparently not able to do them,” he said. The singer said, “My body is telling me I have to slow down. I hope you guys understand.”

Bieber’s message to fans

Bieber said he was unsure how long it would take him to recover. But he appeared positive about making a full recovery through rest and therapy. “I will use this time to just relax and unwind and get back to one hundred percent so that I can do what I was born to do,” he said.

In March, Bieber’s wife, Hailey Bieber, was hospitalized for a blood clot in her brain.
