Manish Sisodia’s bungalow allotted to Atishi; His family is asked to vacate bungalow

New Delhi: Days after AAP leader and former Delhi Deputy CM Manish Sisodia resigned from the cabinet after being arrested by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), his official bungalow has been re-allotted to party leader Atishi. Notably, Atishi held several portfolios in the Delhi cabinet after Sisodia’s resignation. Manish Siodia’s family has been asked to vacate the bungalow within seven days by March 21.

AAP leader Atishi will have to submit a notification to the PWD department that she will accept the proposal for allotment of this particular bungalow. The offer letter provided to Atishi states that the AAP leader will have to vacate her previous residence within 15 days of taking possession of the new bungalow.

Notably, Manish Sisodia tendered his resignation from the Delhi cabinet, following allegations of corruption and money laundering by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) and the CBI and his subsequent arrest by both the central agencies.
