New Delhi: Who does not wait for new mobile phones and gadgets. In the month of February, new smartphones are coming for us as well as various other categories of gadgets.
Although the smartphone market has been quite soft last week, a lot of smartphones were launched this week, including Realme X7 Pro and X7 5G, Poco M3 and many more. Other gadgets have also joined these categories, with the official announcement of the Sony PlayStation 5 in India.
Realme X7 5G
The Realme X7 Pro 5G became the first phone in India to bring the MediaTek Dimension 1000+ SoC in one phone, and in our review, we noted its outstanding performance. On the other hand, Realme X7 5G also uses the Dimension 800U Soc from MediaTek. Although its performance is quite good, its entire package looks better in terms of build quality, software and camera performance. Deal of this phone for Rs 30,000 is not bad. The Realme X7 5G is still a strong point in terms of price which makes it high in the smartphone market.
POCO M3
Starting at Rs 10,999, the Poco M3 is the company’s mid-budget segment offering. It runs on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 662 SoC, has 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage and a 48 MP triple rear camera. Other features include a side-mounted physical fingerprint sensor, a 6,000mAh battery pack and an 18-watt fast charging. This smartphone comes in a hot contest segment which already has strong presence in Xiaomi, Samsung, Realme, Nokia, Motorola and even Poco itself.
ITEL A47
Priced at Rs 5,499, the Itel A47 aims to offer the most basic smartphone features especially for first-time smartphone buyers looking for a budget device. It has a 5.5-inch HD display, 2GB RAM and 32GB storage, a 5MP dual camera setup on the rear, and a 3,020mAh battery. It runs on Android 9 Go edition, and is included in India’s most budget-segment offering, launched in an exclusive partnership with Amazon India.
FOSSIL GEN 5E
FOSSIL Android Wear OS smartwatches are one of the most popular wearable devices for Android users. The new Fosil Gen 5E smartwatch will sell alongside the Fosil Gen 5 smartwatch, and will offer a slight change in terms of features with a new rate of Rs 18,495. It gets a single button for all operations that can be rotated to scroll through the menu. It has a 1.19-inch AMOLED display, with a clean design that is available in watch sizes of 42 mm and 44 mm.
Samsung Galaxy M02
Apart from this, Samsung Galaxy M02 is the entry level variant of Samsung Galaxy M series smartphones in the lowest budget segment in India. Priced at Rs 6,799, the Galaxy M02 comes with MediaTek MT6739W SoC 3GB RAM and 32GB storage, 6.5-inch HD display, 13MP dual rear camera, 5,000mAh battery and Android 10 with Android 10 full version available.
Sony Plyastation 5
The much-awaited Sony Plyastation 5 is finally available for sale in India this week with limited stock. Sony will now be selling the PS5 in India through both offline and online channels, and the new generation gaming console will be priced at Rs 49,990 for the Blu-ray variant and Rs 39,990 for the digital version. We mentioned in our review that the Sony PS5 is an excellent console that provides super sharp 4k graphics up to 120fps.
Other launching phones and gadgets
Other product launches over the past week have included Panasonic’s first box-style, Netflix certified full-frame professional mirrorless camera, the Panasonic Lumix BGH1. Also launched in the Cinematic category is the Sony FX6, a lighter camera and 10.2MP full-frame CMOS sensor. The camera body is priced at Rs 5,99,990, and uses the 16-35mm T3.1G lens, the E-Mount, belonging to the ‘C’ (or Cinematic) range of Sony lenses. Realme V11 in China is also a budget 5G phone powered by MediaTek’s new mid-range Dimension 700 SoC. Samsung clung to the launch of its budget wireless earphones, the Samsung Level U2. Nokia has a new Android Go-based budget phone, the Nokia 1.4, which should be launched in India in the coming days. Finally, Apple is about to launch a special, limited edition Apple Watch Series 6 Black Unity Edition.
