Citing the survey, Mr. Nadda tweeted that Prime Minister Modi has emerged as the most popular leader of government so far for various issues of COVID-19 crisis and efficient management.

Mr. Javadekar attributed PM Modi’s high approval rating to his foresight and competent leadership. He said that the government’s “success” in dealing with the COVID-19 epidemic further increased his popularity. He said that the Prime Minister has a vision for the country and prepares his programs according to which he succeeds.

Mr. Javadekar said that PM Modi’s approval rating of 55 percent is almost double in the list of 13 percent democratic state heads, including those from the US, France, Australia, and Brazil.
