The BJP has questioned the law and order of Rajasthan after this incident and Union Information and Broadcasting Minister Prakash Javadekar said that Rahul Gandhi should now go to Rajasthan. At the same time, Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has said that the culprits will not be spared.

According to the information, Kailash sons Kadu Meena, Shankar, Namo, Ramlakhan Meena, etc. were raiding to capture the temple land in Bukana village of Sapotra area in Karauli. When the priest stopped them from encroachment, the accused opened fire on the priest by spraying petrol. In this incident, the priest’s body was badly burnt at many places. As soon as the family came to know about the incident, they hurriedly admitted the priest to Sapotra Hospital. But after the priest’s condition was critical, he was referred to a large hospital in Jaipur. During the treatment in Jaipur, the priest died at 7 pm on Thursday evening.

One accused arrested, 5 absconding
Before the death, let the priest tell the names of the five criminals to the police. An FIR was lodged at Sapotra police station after the priest’s statement, following which the police immediately arrested the main accused Kailash Meena, but 5 other accused are still absconding. Police said some people were occupying the temple land. There was a situation of dispute about this for a long time. The villagers also had a panchayat in this case in which the Panchs had asked the occupiers of the temple land not to encroach and remove the possession, but the encroachers did not listen to the Panches either.
