Sushil Modi requested to come Delhi by the BJP central leadership

Patna: The exercise for the formation of a new government in Bihar has intensified. Nitish Kumar, however, appears to be in some confusion about taking the oath of CM. Meanwhile, a meeting of newly elected legislators has been called on November 15 in Patna to form the NDA government headed by Nitish, wherein the MLAs will elect their leader. Meanwhile, the talk of making Kameshwar Chappal the new Deputy Chief Minister of Bihar is in full swing. Amidst all these rumors, Sushil Kumar Modi has been summoned to Delhi by the BJP high command.

Sushil and Nitish have had a long history of working together. Both politicians are the products of the historic Bihar movement led by Jayaparakash Narayan in 1970’s. While Sushil belonged to the ABVP, the students’ wing of the RSS, Nitish, a student of engineering at Bihar College of Engineering, was influenced by the socialism espoused by Jayaprakash Narayan and Ram Manohar Lohia.

After their initiation into political activism through the JP movement, they returned to the political philosophies of their roots – while Nitish got into the Janata Party, Lok Dal, Janata Dal, Sushil joined the BJP as he grew in age and experience.

Thus, Sushil, who knew Nitish and his politics well, was the most suited person to be his deputy. Moreover, the BJP was the junior partner of the JDU but Sushil was the most “trusted” leader of his party in Advani-Vajpayee era. Thus, Sushil equally suited both – Advani and Nitish.

According to information received from sources, the discussion on the formation of a new government in Bihar and the names of potential ministers will also be on Sushil Modi’s visit to Delhi. Sushil Modi will talk about who will join the cabinet in the new government. The talks will include BJP President Jagat Prakash Nadda and Home Minister Amit Shah.

It is to be known that the meeting of the newly elected MLAs of BJP will be held on November 15 and it will also include Defense Minister Rajnath Singh. Rajnath Singh, who is coming to Bihar as a central observer from the party, will formally announce the leader of the BJP Legislature Party. According to the information received from the BJP, in addition to the newly elected 74 MLAs, the Legislative Councilors will also attend the party Legislature Party meeting.

In this meeting to be held at 10 am on Sunday morning at the state BJP office, only the defense minister can formally announce the name of the leader of the party’s legislative party. After the election of the leader of the BJP Legislature Party, it will be decided who will be the deputy CM in Bihar.

The NDA Legislature Party is scheduled to meet on November 15 at 12.30 am. After this, the name of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar will be formally announced in the NDA Legislature Party meeting.
