Mumbai: Amazon Prime Video has released a new song from R Madhavan and Shraddha Srinath-starrer “Mara” today. Called ‘Oru Arai Unthu’, the song is composed by legendary composer Ghibaran, while the lyrics are penned by Thamarai. Sung by Yazin Nizar and Sanah Modutty, Oru Arai has us sharing a glimpse of the picturesque and artistic world of Mara and Paru, starring Madhavan and Shraddha.
The beautiful local scenes and paintings featured in the video of the song add life to this song which makes you look more hopeful.
Directed by Dilip Kumar and produced by Prateek Chakraborty and Shruti Nalpa under Pramod Films, ‘Mara’ is scheduled for a special global premiere on January 8, 2021 on Amazon Prime Video in 200 countries and territories. ‘Mara’ also stars Alexander Babu, Shivada Nair, Molly, Padmavati Rao and Abhirami in lead roles.
Talking about the song, music director Ghibaran said, “Mara is a romantic musical and therefore, every song in the film is extremely important for the narrative. We had to make sure that the songs match well not only with the situation, but also with the film scenes. Oru Arai Unthu is one such song in the film. Mara’s music is very carefully composed as an existence and we hope everyone will like the songs.”
Speaking on the song, director Dilip Kumar said, “Being a romantic musical drama, music is an important element in the film. We wanted to make music in a way that carried the story forward.
