Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan’s ex-wife Reham Khan has alleged that unidentified persons opened fire on her on the vehicle she was traveling in on Sunday night.

Taking a jibe at her ex-husband over the attack, Reham Khan said that under Imran Khan’s rule Pakistan has become a country of cowards, thugs and greedy people.
“On my way back from my nephew’s wedding, my car was shot and two men on a motorcycle grabbed the vehicle at gunpoint! I had just changed vehicles. My PS and driver were in the car. This Imran Khan’s Naya Pakistan? You are welcome. Situation of cowards, thugs and greedy people!” He tweeted.
The spotless Reham Khan, however, said that the incident has left her “angry and worried”. She also commented that she would have preferred a duel over a “cowardly covert attempt”.
British-Pakistani-born journalist and former TV anchor, Reham Khan was married to Imran Khan from 2014 to October 30, 2015. The 48-year-old is known to be an outspoken critic of her ex-husband and frequently criticizes him. His style of governance and comments in public.
After the Pulwama attack in 2019, Reham Khan had said that Imran Khan was a puppet of the country’s army and came to power by compromising on ideology and liberal policy.
