Uttarakhand Congress leader Indira Hridayesh passes away

New Delhi: Veteran politician of Uttarakhand Congress and Leader of Opposition in the Legislative Assembly Dr. Indira Hridayesh passed away today. He breathed his last at Uttarakhand Bhawan in Delhi. Dr. Hridayesh died of a heart attack. She had reached the capital on Saturday to attend the Congress meeting to be held in Delhi. He died of cardiac arrest in room number 303 of Uttarakhand Bhawan today. Preparations are being made to take his body to Uttarakhand.

This morning he was admitted to a hospital in Delhi in a critical condition. The death of a strong Congress leader has dealt a big blow to the party. Congress State Vice President Suryakant Dhasmana has confirmed the death of Indira Hridayesh. He told that he had a heart attack in Uttarakhand Sadan in Delhi.
