West Bengal’s 69-year-old CM, after suffering a head injury at her residence on March 14, 2024 was admitted to the SSKM Hospital in Kolkata. The All India Trinamool Congress informed that on Thursday, that CM of West Bengal, Mamta Banerjee had gone through major injury on forehead, and he also shared photos of her, with a deep cut on her forehead, and blood on her face.
Later, Kartik Banerjee, brother of Mamta Banerjee said that she fell inside her home, Kalighat after returning from an event. It was informed that, She underwent some medical test and a few stitches in the state-run hospital. Afterwards, doctors found her stable and discharged her.
The Trinamool Congress posted on twitter that “Our chairperson @MamataOfficial sustained a major injury. Please keep her in your prayers.” Meanwhile, PM Narendra Modi also expressed his grief and concern, by posting “I pray for the quick recovery and best health for Mamta Didi. Tamil Nadu CM MK Stalin expresses her concern and wished her recovery.
