New Delhi: Almost a month has passed, many countries have started vaccination against the coronavirus epidemic. While the United Kingdom was the first country to approve the Covid-19 vaccine and start a vaccination campaign, many others have since joined the list.
Most countries have approved Pfizer Inc-BioNTech SE or Moderna vaccines, while some are using both. The Oxford University-AstraZeneca vaccine has also been approved.
Meanwhile, the World Health Organization (WHO) has approved the emergency use of Pfizer and BioNTech for the Coronavirus vaccine. Which has opened the way for the worldwide Pfizer vaccine to be used. Along with this, India is also going to take a big decision today on the emergency use of the Corona vaccine. There is an important meeting to be held today.
Important meeting in India today
The Central Drugs Standard Control Organization (CDSCO) is going to have an important meeting today regarding the use of the vaccine. The meeting is expected to allow emergency use of the vaccines of Serum Institute of India, Pfizer, and Bharat Biotech Pvt Ltd. Recently there was a meeting on this subject, but no decision could be taken, after which the decision was taken to have a meeting on January 1. Therefore, the meeting to be held today is considered very important.
The WHO has issued a statement saying that it has approved the Pfizer vaccine only after detailed investigation and testing. Simultaneously, the ‘Emergency Use Listing’ process is also going on fast, so that vaccines can be delivered to poor countries at the earliest.
Let me tell you that after joining the list any corona vaccine will be easily approved for emergency use in countries around the world. In addition, the WHO has said about the new strain of Corona that it can be avoided by adopting existing measures.
