Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan, who has been in jail since October 3 in a drug bust case, assured the NCB officials during a counseling session that he would work for the welfare of the poor.

Aryan is currently lodged in Arthur Road Jail after he was arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) on October 2 following an alleged drug seizure at a party from a cruise ship off the Mumbai coast.

During his counseling session by NCB zonal director Sameer Wankhede and officials associated with other social activists, Aryan said that after his release, he would work towards “social and financial upliftment of the poor and downtrodden” and he refrained from doing Which will bring them into the limelight. For the wrong reasons, an agency official reportedly said.

Aryan Khan reportedly told officials and social workers present, “I will do something that will make you proud of me.”

After the arrest, Aryan consulted with seven other accused, including two women.

A special court for cases under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act will pass its order on Aryan’s bail plea on October 20.
