Former Indian cricketer Yuvraj Singh has become a father to a baby boy. 40-year-old Yuvraj shared this information with his fans by tweeting late on Tuesday night. Sharing this good news with his Twitter account, he also urged everyone to respect privacy.
Yuvraj tweeted, “To all our fans, family and friends, we are delighted to share that today God has blessed us with a baby boy. We thank God for this blessing to have a baby. Welcome to the world and want you to respect our privacy.”
The left-handed star batsman got engaged to British national Hazel Keech in November 2015 after recovering from cancer in 2012 and tied the knot a year later in November 2016.
Yuvraj Singh, popularly known as Yuvi, had a wonderful international career. He played 402 matches in his 17-year international career and scored 11778 runs during this period. Yuvraj also scored 17 centuries and 71 half-centuries in the meantime. He also contributed significantly to the bowling and took 148 wickets. Yuvraj also won seven man of the series title in ODI cricket. On the basis of his all-round performance, the Indian team also won the 2011 World Cup. Then Yuvi had scored more than 350 runs and 15 wickets.
Yuvraj made his international debut in the year 2000 and after that he retired from all forms of cricket in 2019.
