Since the abrogation of Article 370 from Jammu and Kashmir, the security forces are on the front foot against the terrorists in the Valley. Jammu and Kashmir Director General of Police (DGP) Dilbag Singh had said that last year security forces had eliminated 182 terrorists, including 44 top militants, in 100 successful operations in the Valley.

“We have completed the target of 100 successful operations and this year 44 top terrorists have been neutralised,” Singh had said. “Infiltration has come down this year, only 34 terrorists have managed to infiltrate.”
