Srinagar, October 18: Jammu and Kashmir Administration signed an MoU with the Government of Dubai in UAE for real estate development, industrial parks, IT towers, multipurpose towers, logistics, medical college, super specialty hospital “and much more”. have signed. According to news agency KNO, the LG made this announcement while addressing the media at Raj Bhavan, Srinagar. Sinha was accompanied by Union Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal and Chief Secretary Dr Arun Kumar Mehta.
Speaking on the occasion, Union Minister Goyal said that Raja Sultan Ahmed, during his recent visit to Dubai, had expressed his desire to visit India, especially Jammu and Kashmir, to invest in the real estate business.
“I invited them and now the results are clear. We have signed an MoU with Dubai for real estate business in Jammu and Kashmir,” Goyal said.
He added that the people of Dubai “will now come a long way in the tourism and real estate business in Jammu and Kashmir and the Union Territory”.

Taking to Twitter, LG Sinha said that the Government of Dubai and the Government of Jammu and Kashmir have inked an agreement, “which will help the Union Territory achieve new heights in industrialization and sustainable development”.
“Today is an important day in the development journey of the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir,” he said.
Thanking PM Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah for the “unprecedented development of Jammu and Kashmir”, LG Sinha said the MoU “reaffirms our commitment to build Atam Nirbhar J&K”.
He said, “We are committed to develop a new industrial culture in J&K. This MoU is about the potential of J&K and I am sure it will set the pace in the future business sector which is the key to the prosperity of the people”.
