Arogya Setu’s backend code released in the open domain

New Delhi: The government has released the ‘backend code’ of Arogya Setu on Friday, which will help people understand the operation of the app in relation to the detection of Covid-19 infected and remove privacy and security concerns about it. According to a statement from the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, the source code for Android and iOS versions of the Arogya Setu App was released earlier under the government’s policy of sharing all codes and now the backend source code has been released.

Open Forge is a platform set up by the Government of India to promote the sharing and re-use of e-governance application source code.
