Prime Minister Modi addressed the nation today on the completion of administration of over 100 crore vaccines. “The 100 crore Covid vaccine dose landmark is not just statistics, it is a new chapter in history,” he said.
Congratulating the nation, he said that this was no ordinary achievement. The Prime Minister said how the vaccine was made available free of cost to the citizens even in the remotest parts of the country.
The Prime Minister also talked about the start-up universe, the new unicorns coming to India, Made in India, Vocal for Local, Central Vista and PM Gati Shakti Yojana.
A day after India achieved the record 1 billion COVID-19 vaccination milestone, Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the nation on Friday. With this, India has become the second country after China to reach this point. Apart from highlighting the positives of India’s vaccination campaign, the Prime Minister also talked about the start-up universe, the new unicorns coming to India, Made in India, Vocal for Local, Central Vista and PM Gati Shakti Yojana.
Acknowledging the role of start-ups and unicorns in creating new employment opportunities for the Indian youth, he said that experts and agencies in and outside India are optimistic about the Indian economy.
The Prime Minister highlighted that experts and multiple agencies, both domestic and international, are positive about the Indian economy.
“Today Indian companies are not only seeing record investments but also creating new employment opportunities for the youth. With record investments in start-ups, record start-ups and unicorns are being created,” he said.
During his recent address, the Prime Minister urged all Indians to buy ‘Made in India’ products. Apart from this, he also urged the citizens to convert ‘Vocal for Local’ into a mass movement just like Swachh Bharat Abhiyan.
The Prime Minister strengthened the ‘Made in India’ pitch and said, “Wherever we look there is only optimism…Earlier it was only about mantras made in this country, but today everyone is talking about ‘Made in India’. talking about.”
He said that the government has initiated projects like Central Vista Redevelopment Project, PM Gati Shakti National Master Plan to strengthen India’s economic growth despite the coronavirus pandemic.
Congratulating India on achieving a record 1 billion COVID-19 vaccine doses, Prime Minister Modi said, “On October 21, India met the target of 1 billion COVID-19 vaccinations. It has come from the integrated efforts of 130 crore Indians. I congratulate our citizens for this achievement.” The Prime Minister also said that 100 crore vaccine doses is not just a number, but “also a reflection of the country’s potential. A new chapter in history is being created.”
PM Modi said the 1 billion COVID-19 vaccination achievement is “a picture of a new India that knows how to set tough goals and achieve them”. He further highlighted that India’s vaccination program originated in the ‘womb of science’ and developed on a scientific basis.
“Today, many people are comparing India’s vaccination program with other countries of the world. The speed with which India has crossed the 100 crore mark is also being praised. However, one thing is often missed in this analysis is where we started,” PM Modi said on the international praise for crossing the record 1 billion mark.
He also backed the CoWIN platform, saying it was a “hotspot in the world”. Modi highlighted that the indigenously built platform not only made vaccination accessible to the common man, but also made the work of healthcare workers easier.
PM Modi urged people to follow the safety protocols related to COVID-19 and not be careless in view of the festive season. “No matter how good the cover, no matter how modern the armor. Even if armor is a complete guarantee of protection, weapons are not thrown during combat. I request that we should celebrate our festivals with utmost care,” the PM said.
