New Delhi: India has increased its defense powers further amid the ongoing tension along the China border. Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO) on Wednesday successfully test-fired surface-to-surface supersonic cruise missile BrahMos equipped with indigenous boosters and airframe sections as well as several ‘Made in India’ subsystems from ITR, Balasore in Odisha. was done. Its firepower has been increased to 400 km. This is another important step towards the expansion of indigenization.
The BrahMos Land-Attack Cruise Missile (LACM) had a maximum speed of Mach 2.8. Defence Minister Rajnath Singh congratulated all DRDO employees and team BrahMos for this magnificent mission.
